Wondering what we've recently improved or added to AdWords? Below is a list of features we've released in the last several weeks. We'll continue to refresh this list so you can stay up-to-date on the latest releases.
December 16, 2009
Spreadsheet editing at the campaign level: You can use the power of spreadsheet editing across several ad groups at once. Navigate to the Keywords tab in any campaign, then select the arrow next to the 'Edit' button at the top of the table. Select 'Edit in spreadsheet' to start managing your keywords, destination URLs, bids, and more. You can even move keywords from one ad group to another by changing the name in the 'Ad Group' column.
Clickable destination URLs: We've now made your keyword destination URLs clickable, helping you to easily verify your URLs as you manage your keywords.
December 2, 2009
Next/previous ad group links: You can now navigate through your ad group details in the order that matters to you using new 'next' and 'previous' links at the top of the page. To activate these links, first navigate to an individual campaign and sort the ad groups on your 'Ad groups' tab (by cost, for example). Then, click into the first ad group in the list. You can review your keyword, ad, and network performance for that ad group, and then click the 'next' link to move on to the next ad group in the list.
Mobile & click type segmentation: You can now compare performance statistics between high-end mobile devices standard computers using the 'Segment by device' option. If you use WAP mobile ads and have included a click-to-call phone number in your ad, you can also segment your statistics by click type to view performance on URL clicks versus calls. Both options are available under the 'Filter and views' menu.

Add keywords in spreadsheet mode when creating ad groups: You'll now see the option to add keywords in spreadsheet mode when creating a new ad group or campaign. This means you'll be able to save your new ad group with custom keyword destination URLs and bids already in place.
Filtering for search terms: When you click to see search terms for your keywords, you'll now be able to filter the list by using the 'Filter and views' menu. Try filtering by clickthrough rate or conversions to identify search terms that are performing well!
Set custom alerts on conversion metrics: Both 1-per-click and many-per-click conversion metrics are now available for custom alerts. Setting alerts on these conversion metrics can help you monitor your ROI and quickly take action on any fluctuations. To set an alert, click on the 'More actions' menu and then 'Create a custom alert'.
October 14, 2009
Segment your data: Under your 'Filter and views' menu, you'll now find many more data segmentation options for campaigns, ad groups, and keywords. Try segmenting campaign performance by quarter, or check out how your keywords perform on each day of the week.

Spreadsheet editing enhancements: You can now get to spreadsheet edit mode more quickly in your ad groups by clicking the arrow next to the 'Edit' button above your keyword table. In addition to editing your existing keyword list, you'll also find the option to add new keywords and keyword settings in a spreadsheet. After clicking the 'Add' button on any Keywords tab, click 'Add keywords by spreadsheet'.
Filtering for detailed URL list: When you click to see URL details for your managed or automatic placements on the Networks tab, you'll now find the same 'Filter and views' menu you can access elsewhere in your account. Try filtering by conversion rate, cost, or any other metric that you'd like to monitor.

Consistent date range across MCC client accounts: When logging in through a My Client Center account, you'll now be able to maintain a consistent date range across each client account you're viewing.
New look for search terms and URL list: Integrated reports for search terms (on the Keywords tab) and URL details (on the Placements tab) have a new streamlined design to help you maintain context in your current campaign or ad group while you dive into more details.
