All online pharmacy-related ads and keywords are required to follow Google's online pharmacy policies.
To submit the appropriate pharmaceutical registration or license as detailed below, please contact AdWords Support.
I. Online Pharmacies and Affiliates in the U.S. and Canada
Online pharmacies and affiliates in the U.S. and Canada are required to be associated with a valid PharmacyChecker ID.
Already a member of the PharmacyChecker Licensed Pharmacy Program?
Submit your PharmacyChecker ID in your AdWords account. (You can do this at any time by clicking Account Preferences under your "My Account" tab. Next to "PharmacyChecker ID," click Edit.)
Before submitting your ID, please check the following:
- The PharmacyChecker ID you submit needs to correspond to the specific URL you are advertising
- Your ID should be approved by PharmacyChecker before you enter it into your account
- PharmacyChecker IDs begin with either an "A," "W," "R," or "P," so make sure you include the correct letter when entering your complete ID

Not an online pharmacy or pharmacy affiliate?
Let us know. If your ad has been flagged for pharmacy-related content, but you feel that this policy does not apply to you, please send us an exception request through your AdWords account. If your request for exception is not approved, you'll be notified by email once we've reviewed your account.
Based outside the U.S. or Canada?
Please know that Google only accepts PharmacyChecker IDs for pharmacies based within the U.S. or Canada. Google policy allows such ads in select other countries with proof of appropriate licensing for that country.
Advertising pet prescriptions?
Pet pharmacies and affiliates advertising pet prescription drugs are required to be PharmacyChecker approved when targeting the U.S. or Canada.
