What does the number next to my keyword Quality Score mean?

Print

The number next to 'Quality Score' on the Keyword Analysis page is your keyword's Quality Score detail. The number is a finer breakdown of our standard quality scale of 'Poor,' 'Ok,' and 'Great.' On this scale, 1 is the lowest rating, while 10 is the highest. 1-4 corresponds with Poor, 5-7 with OK, and 8-10 with Great.

The number is displayed as X out of 10, since 10 is the maximum. For instance, a Quality Score detail of 7 would be shown as '7/10.'

Please note that the Quality Score detail is not the same as the numeric quality multiplier we use when calculating Ad Rank or cost-per-click (CPC). The Quality Score detail scale does not change the way that Quality Score is calculated or considered.
