Can I use custom targeting to show an address with my ad?

Print

Yes, in some cases. When you target your AdWords campaign to an area around an address, you can choose to have the same address appear beneath your ads on Google. To allow the address to show with your ad, select a custom area in your campaign targeting settings. When you enter the address on the "Custom" tab under "Map point," simply check the box labeled 'Allow address to show in my ads.'

If you target multiple locations in one campaign, and you elect to display an address with your ads, only users in relevant locations will see the address. For example, if you target all of California plus part of Phoenix, Arizona, and then elect to display a Phoenix address in your ads, only users in or near Phoenix will see the address.

You can also show additional business information with your ads such as an address or phone number on Google and its properties (including Google Maps), and some Google Search Network sites with ad extensions.

Available countries: This feature is only available in some countries. If we don't yet show addresses in your location, you can still opt in to this feature, and your address will begin showing when the feature becomes available. You can also try targeting cities or regions, which will automatically include a line with the name of the targeted city or region in your ad.

Policies: This feature is subject to the same policies as a text ad with an address extension. Learn more
