How do ad extensions work with Local Business Center accounts?

Print

AdWords offers the option of using your existing Google Maps business locations, which are stored within a Local Business Center (LBC) account, as ad extensions for your existing AdWords ads. To do this, you'll need to link your LBC account to your campaign, and AdWords will synchronize with the account within a few hours. You can link your LBC account from the campaign settings page.

An LBC account is not required to use ad extensions within AdWords, and it is only available for business owners. If you are not a business owner, you should manually enter business locations for your ad extensions instead.

Using ad extensions without a Local Business Center (LBC) account

You can still extend your ads with business location information by manually entering up to 9 locations for the campaign. However, if you'd like to add more than 9 addresses manually, you'll need to link an LBC account to your AdWords account.
