If you are not able to sign in to your AdWords account, please try this troubleshooting checklist of solutions to common problems.
Are you using the correct email address and password?
Make sure you're using the email address and password that you provided during the AdWords account set-up process. Be sure you're using correct capitalization, and avoid including extra spaces.
Did you forget your password?
If you've forgotten your password, you can follow these steps.
Did you change the login information of another service in your Google Account?
If your AdWords account shares a Google Account with other services, such as AdSense, Google Base, or Google Product Search, then changing the login information of one of these services will also update your AdWords login information. If you recently changed the login information of any of your Google services, try signing in to your AdWords account with this new login.
Have you just set up your account and not verified your login email?
Check your email. We sent you a verification message to the email address provided when you created your AdWords account. Open this message from us, and click on the link to verify your account.
Or, have the AdWords system resend this message to you. To do this, just try to sign in to your AdWords account at https://adwords.google.com using the email and password you chose when you created your account. Click on the link in the message asking us to resend the verification email. Then, check your email to verify your email address. If you do not receive this email, please check to see if it was blocked by your spam filters.
Did you mistakenly enter the wrong email address when creating your Google AdWords account?
If yes, you can change the email address by editing your Google Account login information.
- Visit https://www.google.com/accounts.
- Sign in with the email address you used to create your Google AdWords account.
- Click the link at the bottom of the page to change your email address.
- Enter your correct email address and password, and click Save email address.
Changing your Google Account login information applies to all Google services that you may be using besides AdWords.
Did you provide a real email address when you updated your AdWords login?
Sign in to AdWords using whichever email address and password you provided (even if it's not a real email address). You'll see a message asking you to verify your account. Click the 'If you mistakenly entered the wrong email...' link. Then, reset the email address to one that you own. Be sure to check your email to verify your address.
